Yes you can but there may be additional information needed. Your mortgage professional should be able to prove that this is an "arms length" transaction meaning the seller and the buyer are doing the negotiations and bargaining without one influencing directly the other party through blood relationship or extended degree of relationship, ie. this is not a sale within family members. The purchase and sale agreement needs to be crisp to get a mortgage that is not MLS. Also,. an appraisal may be needed especially if the price does not make sense.

Normally when processing a loan, I get 2 latest paystubs to start the process. Prior to closing, the lender may require another 2 latest paystubs to verify your income. Also they would call the company representative who issued the letter to verify if you actually work there. The property tax, always based on ownership which has nothing to do with you being Citizen, resident alien or not. You must pay the property tax of the Condo, the same way you pay the personal property tax for your car. If you do not pay, the county will forfeit the property and put it for sale on public auction after few years.
