    Q. Can you apply with different banks for a mortgage?

"Many banks as you like for a mortgage..."

Hello. The answer to your question is yes. You can make appointments and sit down with as many banks as you like for a mortgage , your credit may be checked many times but the credit bureau is aware that people shop for a mortgage rate and take that into consideration when seeing all the credit checks. As a Mortgage Agent my job is to do exactly that for my customers, I have access to all the major lenders and even the smaller lenders that have better rates because their names are not as well known. I pull only one credit bureau and with that bureau I can shop the mortgage to all the lenders to find a lender that has the best rate and the best product for your particular situation. I do all the running around and I do not charge my clients for my services. I am available from 9am to 9pm and can handle all the small stuff for my clients, I also work across all of Canada except Quebec. Q. I got put on th chex due to mis cummunication between my self (in the uk) and them (in the usa). what can i do?

    Powered by
I worked in the us for 2 months a few years ago and the money i earnt went into a us bank account. last summer i decided to use the money in that account for an online purchase. however this edded up becoming overdrawn. the bank did not conteact me untill a few weeks later (dues to postal issues ion the uk). i imediatly transfered over the amount of money that i thought would be enough to put me back into the positve. however just before i went away for a month i recieved a letter to say they would be closing my account in a few days, so i imediatly tried to transfer more money. however this ended up bouncing back to me as the account was already closed. (due to the time it took for my mail to get here.) im now been told i have been put on the chex list. i am trying to apply for a morgage in the uk at the moment, is this going to affect me??? and is there any way of getting my name off this list as i feel this is very unfair!

"Yes being on that list will hurt your chances of getting a mortgage..."

Yes being on that list will hurt your chances of getting a mortgage. Talk to your current bank's account manager and work with them to get your name removed

    Q. What can i do to keep my house if it is in charged off?

    Powered by
I had a morgage loan with wilshire and i was trying to do a loan modification to lower my payments and keep it fixed. i started the process in october 2009. i hired somebody to help me do it. i was denied the first time but wilshire told me to apply again for an in-house modification. i submited everything again in february 2010 but before i could know if it was aproved they sold it to bank of america. while i was trying to do the modification i didn't make any payments. i received a letter from wilshire saying they sold the loan but i never received any bills or statements or notice of foreclosure from bank of america. i've been calling since march 2010 to find out what is going on. i was told they don't know what is exactly the status of my loan but they think it's in charged off. i have to call again next week because it is still in revision. if it is actually in charged off do i have a chance to keep my house?? bank of america haven't help at all.

No, they can not charge off the money you are keeping until after tehy foreclose. You can't keep both the money and the house.
