Yes you can, when transferring your mortgage to another property its called mortgage porting and is a well known process with the lenders.

    Q. How do i transfer mortgage to new house?

You can port your mortgage to a new house which is a pretty easy step if you don`t require your mortgage to be higher then its is now. If your mortgage stays the same it as easy as filling out a few forms in the bank and sign them. The bank will request information on the new purchase total price and what is the downpayment you gave.

    Q. How to transfer ownership of a house in texas?

    Powered by
Hi, when my dad bought his house he didn't qualify for his loan by himself so i and my brother were listed as coowners of the property. now that the house has been completly paid off. me and brther want my mom and dad to be the only owners of the house and i and my brother want our names off any ownership of the house. how do we tranfer ownershp of the house and what steps do we take. who can legally help me? a tittle company, a lawyer or an ottorney...i don't knowplease help?

You need to file a quit claim deed for the ownership of the home. You can file this deed with you county or city, depends on where you are, for a small filing fee, $10 where I'm at. You can do it or the title company can as well. I'm not sure how long it takes, but shouldnt be a problem. Search for your county recorder or county recorders office.

    Q. How and to who can i go to transfer ownership of a land? my mom is giving it to me help?

    Powered by
So my mom is giving me someland that is supossed to be inherited but shes still alive ...to who can i go to to get it meausured and under my name? i went to the court house and thay told me that they only process the paper work once its made and get a tittle for u but they dont do the actual measuring and paper work...how much would this cost? im from south texas really south like brownsville wow it sounds so complicated...its two and a half acres and im getting half an acre she owns the land completely . its already paid...why would i have to pay more taxes if she is current?

Real estate lawyer can refer a surveyor and do a deed and a title search. Start there Depending on the size of the property from 500$ to a few thousand. (the ONLY state that likes quit claim deeds is Michigan; and that is due to the number of recorded land contracts there. Probably a deed of gift or a warranty deed; after the lawyer helps determine what is best for everyone, including the TAX man if this is a gift. Q/C deed is moronic. Q/C deed is NOT intended to convey a fee simple property. It is intended to convey a non specific interest in a property. Not a good idea for anything but a will, a divorce in some states, a post foreclosure deed, a land contract issue or a very limitted few other issues. Q/C deeds generally cause more problems than they solve)

    Q. What are my legal rights?

    Powered by
My brother in-law bought a car and he coulnt pay it so he pasted it on to me to continue making the payments 2 years ago i finished paying it off and as soon i a finished paying it he wrecked his other car so i let him borrow mine and now he wont give it back cus he says its his. a year ago he gave me the vehicle tittle transfer so i can change it to my name it was one of those days he was in a good mood, resently when i asked him for the car back he didn't wana give it back so i went to the dmv to change it to my name since last year he had given me that paper, and last year i didn't go b4 cus i didnt have the $ to change it to my name. so now i finally went but its still not finished till i take the smog check. this is what i did>>i went and took the car i have it in my house finally but now he said he had reported it stolen cus he said it belongs to him, but he dont know that i went to the dmv to change it under my name. and he also dont remember when he gave me the title release form. so my question is would i get in trouble with the police that i did stole it? i already have a registration under my name but would be finished till i turn in the smog check.. any one know what should i do? i just dont think is fair that a payed that car for 4 years and as soon as a finished paying it off he takes it back.

Nope. You're good to go. Let him bitch. Keep proof you paid for it (canceled checks, and bank records)

    Q. Home loan question?

    Powered by
Someone got a house, but now he wants to transfer the loan and the tittle to someone alse . is that possible leagally? in california. could he do that by refinancing?

Loans are not transferable. If he reads his loan papers when he bought, he would realize this. It may be assumable, but the bank would have to approve it & would require documentation to prove he could afford to do so.
