    Q. When you receive odsp can you move to another country ans still recieve odsp?

"You have 1 month owing to you as odsp is 30 days behind..."

The only other province you can`t transfer your file is Quebec. However when you get to BC you will have to apply but they will have your file sent. You have 1 month owing to you as ODSP is 30 days behind. Example your November payment (paid at the end of Nov) is actually for November, your December Payment (paid at the end of December) is for December. Ontario Works pays for the upcoming month ODSP pays for the previous month. GO FIGURE....with ODSP technically you are in the arrears. I hope this helps and goodluck in BC

    Q. Can i deduct property tax and mortgage interest on my investment property which is a condo i am renting?

Yes, you can deduct mortgage interest as well as property tax and maintenance from your investment property in Canada. If you own multiple units and you are the one managing them you should also open a property management company and charge your properties a management fee which is also tax deductible.

You will have to get the courts involved. Either in a divorce or a "partition" action.

    Q. Accounting..ontario, canada.?

    Powered by
I am the executrix of my brother's 1.4mill estate. date of passing july 20, 2010. his only child is 23 years old and mentally challenged and has been living with the grandmother, who is not legal guardian. mother dead. the pgt has been made guardian for property. a hansen trust was set up for her, and i administer $500 monthly to her. [she is also on odsp] the pgt has requested "passing of accounts". the accountant said that part of the fee comes out of the estate, but i have to pay out of my pocket some of the fee, me being executrix, somewhere between 5 and 10k. does this sound excessive?

"Any fees incurred by the estate should be paid by the estate..."

Very. As executrix, you should not be out of pocket anything. Any fees incurred by the estate should be paid by the estate. Don't do anything unless the estate pays all the expenses.
