Yes, if you are going to be late paying a bill at all, call the company and le them know, they will at the very least have dicumented that you made the effect to contact them and I have never had an issue with it showing up on my credit report in the past when I have called. Although if it`s constant it will show up, but 1-2 times every couple years is okay.
