I would like to refinance my mortgage for a lower rate in the same bank and sign for another 5 years. I have asked the bank to quote me on a new mortgage rate and conditions. The bank came back to me with 3.69% and no penalty for doing this deal earlier. I have another 12 month in my current term which is 4.79%. A different mortgage lender offered me a 3.49% 5 year fixed mortgage with 30 years amortization.
