You do not have to move out. You have a legal interest in that property -- the contracted lease agreement regardless of whether the property is sold or not. If he did not disclose to his buyer that this existed, he's in trouble with them. If you originally had a lease, and then went month to month, the original lease terms are still in effect. If not then you are S-O-O-Luck and have learned a valuable lesson -- always have a lease if you want your rights protected. You should really ask a lawyer this question.
