| What country do you want to live if
you had a choice and why. what
are the good and bad in living in
your preferred country of choice?
why is living there important to
your quality of life and would you
move there if you can, if not, why
are you not making the decision to
move there, what is preventing you
from doing so.
i am american born chinese man. i
will be going to live in china next
month. i have lived in the usa too
long because that is where my
parents escaped to during the
japanese killings of mainlander
chinese. the reason i am leaving a
good job in the usa, educated in
usa, and have nice big home in usa,
is because all that doesn not make
me happy. the big factor in my
happiness is creating good memories
with the people around you. i
can't have any good memories
with people in the usa. usa culture
and society is too much about
money, ego, hubris, image, and
women offer too easy sex, and women
are not feminine, they put on
tatoos, talk loudly, workstiffs,
and rarely shows any skill in the
nurturing role. it seams like the
american women has lost her sense
of what is appealing to men, its
femininity. and i am not talking
about overexposing your body, thats
trashy, but i am aware many
american men likes trashy,
freegiving sex type women, i
don't. also, where is the
humility in people in america? it
does not exist much. even the icon
conservative, dennis prager on the
radio said , he values hubris in
americans and devalues humility.
now with that type of people in
america, whats the point, there is
no magic here, everybody's ego
too big without shame.
people in china has values that
comes close to those professed by
confucius. humilty is one. talking
loudly is looked at as shameful and
disrespectful. the attitude of
"look at me, look at me"
prevalent in the usa culture is
shameful to the chinese. the
chinese mentality of what is good
and bad is total opposite with what
americans value. that is why i am
leaving the states.

answer
i am a transplanted american living
overseas.
i can't say i was ever happy
living in the states. i had few
friends, not that i didn't
want them, or couldn't make
them, but because i had been burned
by many of them in my past. i also
had a great job in the usa but
found the backstabbing, gossip, etc
was more then i could take. my
family, mother, father and brothers
were so caught up in obtaining the
american dream that i chose not to
be around them, especially during
the holiday season because i chose
not to live like them and the
stress associated with the slander
was too much to take.
i also found the police and
government officials in the usa to
be far less then helpful, in some
cases a hindrance. the usa now
gives tickets out like water
because it is a great source of
revenue. the police where i live
have been far more then helpful,
almost to a fault. government
officials treat me with respect. if
i have a problem at my place of
employment they bend over backwards
to resolve it and apologies if they
can't.
the other thing that bothers me is
we talk how we help the people but
we really don't. while new
orleans was sinking our leaders
were playing games. in the
aftermath there are people who are
still waiting to get back into
their homes. the place where i live
has suffered two major natural
disasters where they made pledges
to their people and met those goals
on-time or ahead of time.
we also give the illusion of
reaching the american dream,
fooling the people they are getting
there. but we tax our people to
death with 213 various taxes that
eat up 50% of our wages. we say you
can own a piece of america, but
that property tax can add thousands
onto your mortgage and that
property tax means you don't
own the land, you are only renting
it with legal protection -- because
if you don't pay the tax, you
loose everything, including all the
improvements. where i live you can
not buy the land, you lease it for
70 years. property taxes are just
about non existent. it seems the
government wants people to keep
their homes, instead of making it
next to impossible for those down
on their luck in the usa.
where i live now i make an above
average wage and non of it is
taxed, not a dime, nadda, nothing.
i can chose to do what i want with
100% of my wages. sales tax is not
added on, it is figured into the
price of products. the police
don't seem to care if one
breaks minor laws. like jaywalking,
or driving a little to fast. i have
seen people get into shoving
matches and the police stand by not
breaking it up unless it gets
violent. in the end, no one is
arrested and the crowd breaks up.
the police for the most part do not
carry guns. i have never in my 4
years being here seen a cop car in
hot pursuit or going fast with
sirens blazing and red lights
flashing. i go into parks at 11 pm
at night and find people playing
music, dancing, enjoying themselves
and doing something that
I would never leave the USA to live in China.
I prefer the USA, and once we kick the socialists OUT of my party, we will be far better off.
My country has freedoms most socialist nations like China can't even conceive of.
Considering the very contemptible posts you've made so far and how racist some of them have been, I think you are making the right choice to move.
You said: "The big factor in my happiness is creating good memories with the people around you."
You have kidded yourself about what is your "big factor", because your only footprint here has been nasty, racist, and rude. FOLKS, read his questions, and you'll see what I am saying is true.
You said: "USA culture and society is too much about money, ego, hubris, image, and women offer too easy sex, and women are not feminine, they put on tatoos, talk loudly, workstiffs, and rarely shows any skill in the nurturing role."
You want then: being poor, sacrifice of self for the state, contemplation of one's lack of importance, women who are treated like dirt if they show too much, silence out of fear that they will be punished, and women stuck in the women's role only.
You are heading in the right direction. Go quickly. China will fill your needs.
You said: "I also had a great job in the USA but found the backstabbing, gossip, etc was more then I could take."
You accused me of being a Christian, abuse, and other things as your responses to my answers. WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? You don't know us. Yet you accuse answers you don't like of the most ATROCIOUS gossip.
You behavior is shameful, and I am surprised your family didn't disown you. You slander others but take no responsibility for doing so to others (Again, folks, check out how he answers people who respond to him, he demonstrates it repeatedly).
You say you hate the taxes yet you want to move to a socialist nation? Do you realize that socialism is a 100% tax? Do you realize how socialism has affected THIS country and how contemptible it is? We agree on this point.
NO MORE SOCIALISM.
Dear Gods, people, I have no patience for nonsense like this.
