    Q. What happens if i missed 2 mortgage payments?

You should contact your bank right away and explain your situation and arrange the missing mortgage payments asap. You should not have a problem if you do that. Make sure when ever you miss a payment to keep in touch with the bank and let them know what`s going on.
Someone said: we lost our house because we couldn't come up with the two missed mortgage payment "late fees" two mortgare payments were 1500 total, late fees made payment $5000, forced bankruptcy, walked away homeless with six kids in Ontario, nothing anyone could do, found a decent landlord who took our 1500 as first and last, two more weeks to come up with 500 and have been in the house for 7 years, best thing that ever happened, not everyone can find a decent rental arrangement

    Q. What happens if i missed 2 mortgage payments?

Yes, if you keep the bank in the loop when ever there is a problem and a payment will be delayed. Usually the bank is ok when you keep then in touch and make the payment at your earliest convenient. If you speak to your creditors you always can have a solutions which will give you some time to resolve the financial situation and to keep your mortgage.

    Q. My car insurance company canceled my policy because i missed a payment can they keep back my proof of no claim

    Powered by
I did not have money in bank for monthly payment, insurance firm canceled policey even when i offered to pay three days later, they are asking me to now pay a cancelation fee even though it was them who canceled, they are refusing to send me proof of my no claims, which is for 2 years untill i pay up,i have gone with another firm but because of the no claims i have had to start from scratch can they legaly do this.

Insurance companies don't cancel policies if payment is missed by only a few days - read the small print on your policy. There is something that you're not admitting to us.

    Q. Will we be able to get our car insurance back when we want to?

    Powered by
Ok so the deal is - we got our car insurance policy cancelled on us after we got 2 nsf's in one year, for reasons beyond our control. we got a new insurance policy with monthly payments almost 2 months ago. we paid first and last month's at once, and had one automatic withdrawl since then. are we allowed to cancel our policy? we're thinking about parking the car for 3 months to save ourselves the $ from the payments and gas because its so expensive. he stays home with our child and my work is very close, i can walk. after this 3-6 months, would we be able to sign up for insurance again on monthly payments? we were a special case scenario this time because our policy had gotten cancelled, so im just worried that they wont want to resign us aince we cancelled and no other company will want totake us because of our missed payments.

You really need to talk to your insurance agent. He/she is familiar with your companies underwriting guidelines.

    Q. Is car repossession a bad idea for my scenario?

    Powered by
My spouse and i have been separated for over er almost 2 years, before we separated we got a car for me, 550 a month was the payment on it, i missed payments on car insurance and my brother decides to take it out one night and crashes it while falling asleep. i don't have money to fix it, its a lost to me.. now im only with my income and its eating up my paycheck, ive been paying for it after a year of the crash still...but its draining me hard plus i have other bills too. im willing to sacrifice my credit score to let myself breathe and at least start over. i don't want to go through bankruptcy though. honestly in my case if the bank takes my car, and sell the it for whatever they can get out of it and add whatever their fees are i can deal with them to make a settlement some how and be paying less then 550 a month (im hoping) im already without a car anyways so it wont make a difference if im paying the collection agency the remainder of my loan.

Did you actually have your policy cancelled? Usually a car still being financed will be repossessed by your lender upon your insurance defaulting. If you have not already, confirm that the insurance was cancelled. If so, you need to do everything you possibly can to not have it repossessed. If they sell it at auction and its in bad shape they wont get much for it. So you will still have a large payment, a repossession and no car. You would be better off paying it off and saving up to fix it.

    Q. So confused about this car insurance issue?

    Powered by
Ok, due to being in the hospital giving birth, i missed a second payment on my car insurance in one term. i was told by my broker that was it, there was nothing i could do, they would cancel. my insurance company is ing. i said ok so what next? she told me on july 10th that they were sending out a registewred letter that day stating it was cancelled (my payment was late on june 25th). 2 wks later i had not received anything so i called my broker again. this was at 1 pm (they close at 4) and no one called me back. finally, i called back again, she called ing and called me back saying ok they said if you can pay it today it wont be cancelled (i had asked multiple times if this was an option, i was told no) by the time she told me that, it was 330 pm. i live a 1/2 drive away and by the time i got the baby together, went to the bank etc, it would be after their closing time so i couldnt do that. i contacted another broker who my mother deals with and he told me that they would send me my registered letter but legally i should have 15 days after receiving it to pay the oustanding balance and it would be reinstated. so i tried not to stress. now i have received my registered letter and no where on it does it give me the option to pay the balance and be reinstated. it looks like a final notice to me. whats going on here and why am i getting different answers? and why was i only given the option to pay it at the very last minute, when i had asked about it multiple times before? can anyone help? p.s. i got two letters that say the exact same thing... to scott - umm comsidering my son decided to come a few weeks early, i wasnt really prepared. and if you dont have any advice to give, dont say anything at all. how did that help me at all??

You did know you were pregnant, I'm assuming and you probably had a fair idea of when the baby was due. Why didn't you pay the insurance ahead of time if you knew you'd be out of commission for a few days? Edit. I know it wasn't useful. I was trying to make the point that if you had your affairs in order, you wouldn't be asking this question and you'd still have insurance coverage. You're coming across as some kind of victim here, like the insurance company is conspiring to deny you coverage, when the whole situation could have easily been prevented.

Was in car wreck 12/2/2011 and i had full coverage ins ins payed everything but 182.00 to car lot car lot says i still owe over 1000.00 for miss payments and i have to pay some of that before i can get another car and i dont see why i owe $1000.00. because i havnt missed any payments.

Obviously your collision coverage had a $1000 deductable. And the $182 is your prorated monthly payment.

i am not sure they will let you have a 4 year note a car that old --- but if the blue book value of the car is anywhere close to the 5200 you should not have a problem!!!!

    Q. My insurance company paid for part of totaled car to my loan co., does this count as this months payment?

    Powered by
To be more descriptive, my car was totaled on nov. 1, 09. i paid the payment for nov. my insurance company took forever to give me a final value of $5,282 at the end of dec. i owed $9,100 and have gap. i didn't pay decembers payment because i wasn't paying on a car i had insurance and gap on, but didn't realize it'd take 2 months. the insurance company cut wells fargo the check of $5,282 on january 14th but wells fargo called me on the 15th saying they wanted december and januarys payment now and that they sent me to collections. i still owe $3900 but gap is paying that off in the next week or so. wells fargo said they didn't care, they just want dec. and this months payments. the insurance company said they'd send the check to me so i could pay wells fargo, but instead i just had the insurance company send it to wells fargo so it'd be quicker. they recieved a payment of over $5,000 which covers dec and januarys payment. i also have until the 23rd due to their 30 day grace period. i don't undertand how its missing payment of two months when my payment date isn't even until the 23rd of january and they already got a check for $5000. if i got they check and sent them the $5000, itd be the same damn thing as getting a payment.

they're harassing you because they're afraid that you're going to skip out because you don't have the car anymore. This happens to them all the time. they are not going to sue you for at least 6 months because they're not that efficient. they haven't yet sent you to collections like they said they did because they are still calling you. if they had sent it to collections the collection company would have called. they should have marked that check as payment of however many months it added up to. if they call again give them the # of the person at the insurance company you dealt with and tell them not to call you anymore.
