    Q. If i sell my house for 150k and my mortgage is for 60k what happens to the money?

Lawyer gives you gross 90K minus applicable fees and other penalties. You can then deposit it to the bank. Its clean money.

    Q. What would be the down payment for a 150k house?

    Powered by
I want just a general estimate.. with the person having average - very good credit rating

Go to your bank and speak with the loan officer, they will tell you what they can do for you and how much down you'll need. If you have good/excellent credit and your income in high, they may allow you to go with a 10 - 15% down. But I suggest, from experience, that you put as much down as you can, it lowers your monthly payments. Don't forget to leave some money in the bank, as a homeowner, there are always unexpected expenses.

    Q. I make 35k a year and am buying a 150k house?

    Powered by
I have a gf and a best friend that will be stayin there with me. so really i'll be paying around 500. it is in a great part of las vegas and is a great deal. the friend has live with me for 5 years and will be doing so for a while.the gf is pretty serious also. should this house payment be an issue? the 500 is including all my utilities. i have a car payment at 350 a month and very little cc debt

no way will you be approved for a mortgage that big with only income of $35k do you have the $20-30,000 in CASH you will need UP FRONT??? and what happens if GF splits in a year? unmarried people should never buy real estate together and $350 a month for a car pmt on $35k of income is pretty high too, which will make it even harder to get approved

    Q. What would an average down payment be for a house that goes for around 150k?

    Powered by

To avoid PMI, you would need 20%. I would recommend a minimum of 10%. It really all depends on your credit, and what you want your payments to be.

    Q. Would i be able to afford this house if i have a large down payment ready?

    Powered by
If i make about $3k-$3.5k a month, and am interested in purchasing a house of about $300k, would i be able to afford the monthly payments if i put down a down payment of $150k-$180k? if this is not possible, about how much would i need to make in order to make this happen?

With an income of around 38,000 a year, you can afford a total payment of NO MORE then $800 a month. A 300k house with 180 down would run about 720 for loan (at 6% 30 yr) 250 for taxes a month 60 for in total payment is 1030. PLUS the upkeep and electric, etc. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU DO NOT BUY THIS.

    Q. Can i buy a house with my va loan with no down payment?

    Powered by
I want to purchase a house here in houston tx. here are my circumstances. i have a combined credit score of 625. i would like to use my va loan and do not want to put a down payment. i would like a house in the $125k to $150k range. is this possible?? thanks i make $50k annually. no car payment or credit card payments. i have no debt.

It is possible, the seller has to pay a fee when they accept a VA loan, that is why most will not even accept them.

    Q. How much money do you need to have as a down payment on a house?

    Powered by
Lets say the house costs between 100k and 150k in ohio.

If its your first house and FHA loan requires 0% down, many loans require only 5% down the most important factor is your debt ratio and that is 40% I am closing on Monday and just went through all of this I went through this in Seattle two years ago so I know what I am talking about. Go on line and get with a company can englending.com they will get you the best rate and bank with your current credit and finances, a tip is to by an inexpensive fax machine because you will be doing a lot of it over the next couple of month but your fax will cost you under 40 bucks.

    Q. My house cost know 150k less than i paid for it and i can't make my mortgage payment due lo loss of job pos-n

    Powered by
What is the concequences of forclosure, will i owe any money to the bank if they will sell it for less than loaan amount ? i know that i will damade my credit history. what else should i exoect

This applies to the State of California. You are making reference to deficiency judgements which is what the lender "could" seek. For purchased money loans, nope; the lender will not go after you for it. If, however, fraud was involved when you got the loan then other more obvious repercussions will occur. I suggest trying to sell your home in the open market and if the value is that much lower than what you paid, then approach the lender and request a "short sale." This will save your credit. If you already tried selling your home and either it's been sold for less than what's owed and the lender will not accept a "short sale" or it has not sold and you're in danger of being foreclosed upon, then approach the lender with what's called "a deed in lieu of foreclosure." This could be a hit on your credit, but it's less damaging and demonstrates due dilligence in remedying the situation.

    Q. Is it better to pay a portion of your house payment or none at all?

    Powered by
I have roughly 32k in credit card debit and i owen a home that has depreciated in value by 150k or a little more...my husband works for his family and business is not doing to well and in addition the owners have racked up over 120k in debt. so we might not be able to make all of our house payment...is it better to pay what we can and hope to catch up or should we just not pay it at all. we understand at this point that we might have to do a short sale or foreclosure. given that i am thinking would it be better to pay off my other debts and forget the house payment. also i have already tried calling for a loan motification and they told me that i either needed to reduce my debt or increase my income in order to help me.

See a lawyer that specializes in bankruptcy and foreclosure. He/she may be able to negotiate a smaller credit card payment and have the interest clock stopped. Don't do anything before you get legal advice. This is not a good forum for such a serious problem. Good luck.

    Q. House search - down payment?

    Powered by
We are looking for our first house.... do yall know what the down payment normally is??? house we are looking for is $150k - $200k.... help anyone... please :)

For FHA the minimum is 3.5% down. On a 200K home this will be $7,000 You will also need to pay closing costs upfront and some insurance Google: Closing costs calculator You will also need to have employment for 2 full years and sufficient income to support the mortgage. Clean credit reports which you can check once a year at no cost at Annual Credit Report.com 20% down will avoid that nasty PMI - it's like throwing thousands away a year. It does not go towards principal, interest, and it's not tax deductible. Also do not fall for scam ARM mortgages. Go with fixed rate. Interest rates are likely to double in a few years unles the feds step in - QE3 Also note. Please don't buy the max house you can afford. Hopefully you have learned from this foreclosure mess to buy something that will allow you to sleep well at night in case you lose a job
