I have a international letter on its way i checked tracking status today and it says processed through usps sort facilty at 12:30 p.m. today the place they speak of is about a hour from my home will i recieve tomorrow?

it means that it departed (went) to another location, your house or another facility.

That it arrived at the place to be shiped to your house

The only update USPS is required to provide is for delivery or attempted delivery. Intermediate updates are sporadic at best. Your package is in transit and hopefully it has not been misdirected.

There is no guaranteed delivery time for priority mail. Your item could take 30 days to be delivered or longer if it was misdirected . Additionally, as reported in the news, many USPS employees are on a hunger strike to protest the elimination of 6 day per week deliveries. Malnutrition has been known to cause a diminished mental capacity and could result in a delay or loss of your shipment.

It makes no difference when you placed the order. All that matters is when it is actually handed to the USPS for processing. It appears that it was entered on the 26th, in the evening. It has left the San Bernadino facility on the morning of the 27th. Priority Mail averages 2-3 days nationwide. As with any average, some take less time and some may take longer. You should expect delivery the 29th or 31st although that is not a guarantee.

Believe it or not, Nashua NH is the main sorting facility for Lawrence MA. Stop obsessing about every move your package makes. It will not move on a straight line from Lawrence MA to wherever you are in CA. The post office has its own way of sorting and processing that works best for them.

So i ordered this sling for a gun on ebay. it said that it's supposed to arrive today. but when i checked at the tracking, it just said "departed usps sorting facility" jan-27-12, 00:00 am, nashville, tn 37227. or does the tracking system have some sort of a delay? and the package could come tommorow?

First Class does not mean overnight. It will take several days, but I won't wager exactly when. And don't expect to see any tracking on it. USPS does not update their tracking very often, and you will usually have the package before they update.
