Q. Will disability checks go out on august 3 2011 as of july 27 2011?

The date social security disability checks and electronic deposits are to be received is August 1, NOT August 3. Foodstamps, also threatened not to be paid, are in most receipient`s accounts on August 1 as well. August 3 would affect only normal social security payments. I do not know about Medicare, welfare, unemployment, and veteran`s checks.

Someone said: What do you consider "normal" Social Security? My husband is 100% blind, and he received SSDI, while my daughter who mentally challenged receives SSA. Her's usually arrives on the 1st of the month, whereas my husband receives his on the 3rd of the month. There are different types of SS benefit payments for disabled and the elderly, and disabled children, as well as survivors benefits. I have been told that a friend of mine who receives payments (which are supposed to be received on the 3rd of the month) got theirs today on a prepaid card that makes deposits early. I hope that they do not allow millions of people to go without SS OR UEC, or any other program that helps AMERICANS!

Someone said: i just called my bank and my direct deposit is pending. so i assume you will be paid as well. best of luck to all in these worrysome times.
