    Q. Is 3 6 a good rate for 5 year fixed?

"Very good rate for a 5-year fixed rate mortgage as of today (may 12..."

3.6% would be a very good rate for a 5-year fixed rate mortgage as of today (May 12 , 2011).

    This answer closely relates to:
    • Blended rate return
      • Is a blended mortgage rate a good idea?
      • Can i transfer from 5 year closed fixed mortgage rate to variable rate in just a year?

    Q. Should i hire an expensive us custom programmer or an inexpensive off-shore programmer?

    Powered by
This is actually a market research question. we have been doing custom programming in the us since 1981. our projects range from $5k-$100k with a few above and below that range. in the past few years, we have been losing more and more work to off-shore programmers. we are thinking about offering a blend: we provide the project design and supervision work as well as the work of finding and selecting the right off-shore programmer(s) on a project by project basis. this would give the customer a very good blended rate and, possibly, faster turn-aroung time. i am interested in any and all opinions. would also like to know if there are any forums or blogs the discuss these issues.

"This discounted rate can still be used for your other improvements or maintenance...."

On the business side, we should think on how we can maintain a low operational cost. Well, to off-shore programmers, you can always bargain a nice package and truly it is cheaper too. Most often, you save at least 10-20%payroll expenses for these off-shore programmers. This discounted rate can still be used for your other improvements or maintenance.

    Q. Is this good creative writing for a 13 year old.. rate it 1-4 plz :d?

    Powered by
The thunder roared in my ear as the rain fell and blended in with my tears. i told myself to keep going, like i was told to do many times before, but it felt like i was dragging weights from crying so much. the lies of enemies seemed to eco in my ear as i walked on. i couldn’t believe what i was doing. running away? me? a good student in school and someone who everyone seems to like? i didn’t quite sure know why i was walking so slow; perhaps i was thinking of a excuse of leaving. after all, i didn’t know where i was going. i looked behind me. i saw my house with only one light on. the front porch’s light . it glared less light as i stepped away from home. it soon vanished as i walked down the hill and into the woods. that was only the beginning of the first step of leaving and starting a new life at age 14. thinking of the beginning, i wonder if there ever will be an ending.

4 i wanna figure out more this would be a great short story

    Q. Is this good creative writing for a 13 year old or not? rate it from 1-4?

    Powered by
Flash the thunder roared in my ear as the rain fell and blended in with my tears. i told myself to keep going, like i was told to do many times before, but it felt like i was dragging weights from crying so much. i was done with home, done with people, and done with the crap in my life. the next thing i knew, i was down on the dirt road, weaker than ever. i tasted blood and felt it streaming down like a river on my face. i didn’t know what happened until i looked up and saw a red mustang with a man by my side. he was smiling grim as he knelt down and whispered “ did i hit you? i ‘m sorry.” he raced his fingers along my bloody face and said “ maybe you should watch out for once, you never know what will happen if you ever close your eyes again.” i looked up. i couldn’t see his appearance well. my eyes was filled with tears and made my vision seem like i was trying to look through wax paper. then suddenly i heard him walk away and get into his car. he left me there. almost dead, but still alive. sorry for the spelling errors

I sure hope no to close my eyes again, that's for sure... now, I believe the fact that this is a 13 year old writing, brings some fresh air to our reality, specially if you're around 30 these days.

    Q. Who can i go to for help and questions regarding my 401k program?

    Powered by
I'm 27 and have started investing in my 401k heavily since 3 years ago. however, i have so many questions, it's not even funny...from basic understanding on how it works, picking the right investment options, obtaining the highest rate of return possible, frequent trading, are blended funds better than individual, etc, etc, etc. i don't think my human resources department would be of benefit either. who should i talk to? thanks.

The company that handles your 401k should have representatives that can explain things to you.

    Q. Is this portfolio mix good or what ?

    Powered by
This is a 401k portfolio, i started it on february '07 ,supposed to be somehow agressive. i chose the funds and bonds totally on my own. ytd personal rate of return is 0.5% as of today. i know how the market slump that started last month is affecting everything but even in june i had an all time high of 2.9% only i know that i shouldn't worry too much or check numbers everyday, that's not how it works with stocks but i'm just worried that i might have made a mistake in allocating my investments large cap : fid contrafund fid growth company van value index inst vang inst index plus mid-cap : artisan mid cap inv small cap : royce low pr stk is international : fid overseas ing intl value i blended fund investments: lifepath 2010 idx m lifepath 2020 idx m lifepath 2030 idx m lifepath 2040 idx m oakmark eq & inc i bond investments : fid intermed bond pim total rt inst short term investments : fidelity inst mmkt i'm not the one saying that rylpx is a small cap fund, that's fidelity saying is there a specific problem with having many funds ? not just 4 as you say. of course other than choosing ones with high return history.

"15% small cap (royce is a very good fund..."

First, the answer depends in part on how old you are and how many years to retirement the longer til retirement the more aggressive you should be the Lifepath funds for example are an easy way to have an allocation of stocks/bonds based on your retirement year. So since its 2007 if you plan to retire in 23 years you'd want the 2030 fund. You don't need all 4 Overall way too many funds - you don't need 4 large cap funds, they tend to generally buy the same stocks. Of the ones you have the Fid Contrafund has a great long term record If you are under the age of 40 I'd go 20% large cap, 10% mid cap, 15% small cap (Royce is a very good fund), 25% international, and the rest into the Lifepath of the year you plan to retire although the Oakmark family is also good But you dont need everything you have, simplify it and then look at 3 year and 5 year past track records and readjust 1x a year. You do not adjust to the ones which did the best last year but any 1 year a bad fund can go up a lot, look for those with great long term records (3 yr, 5 yr, 10 yr) If you are older you need to be more conservative and put mor into the bond funds, etc.

    Q. Is bushmills black bush tasty-like dickel no.12? or is it just like a walker black.?

    Powered by
Would bushmills 'black bush' or '10y' substitute for a dickel no 12 i can't get? which one. i disfavor the blend that's rated better but favored 10y single that is rated bad bushmills 10 comments suggest not to buy. bad finish like bad tannin buts it's single malt. rated 77 also mentions burns and fails to warm at end? youtube european tastes seem to love love it. looks the there face blackbush. blends never completely satisfy me. like not as filling at end. and its actually 1 $ more.rated 85 is this just a walker black or is there more happening at the end. not just the tongue.? does it have the mouth filling sock like described with b10 q: is black bush just basically a long tongue sensation like walker black? or is it more filling and appetizing! q: can blackbush be drunk striaght? q: which bushmills has this 'chewy toffee' bit i have read in comments? dickel has 'chewy' bit ( good chewy tobacco!!!) q: what bushmills gives the nice 'warming' feel. dickel does this in a good way not scorching way! q: is the bushmills 10 and bush both green malt? q: are both mouth watering and crey? q: comment say bushmills 10 is just burn. so heat in a bad way not a good pleasing way. bushmills 10 comments say bad finish. so bushmills 10 is just basically 2 wood honey wood and vanilia bourbon and bad tannins? and blackbush is cremey, rasin, sherry, etc with an offpuuting end too.

It is not like Dickel. Now, I really like Bushmills, but you would never confuse the two drinks at all.

    Q. Is my writing any good? asked this a while ago, but got no answers. is my writing any good? i'm desperate! ?

    Powered by
Please review my work! i'm desperate! it looks long but it's really not! sorry for my other post, which somehow got messed up. here is the new, good one. please give each piece a _/10 rating please! storm over the sea rain sprinkled into the ocean like salt from a salt shaker. waves charged at the shore like ranks of an army, bellowing savage war cries. the hordes of ocean battalions hurled themselves onto the sand, then receded and prepared for their next assault. the pulses of water plowed over a small ebony island in the distance. the curve of the earth and the gray sky blended to form a melancholy azure. the clouds that reigned over the water were dull as iron, yet sullen and formidable. as time wore on, rain descended in torrents, bombing the ocean with miniscule seeds of water. flocks of seagulls swarmed the shallows, scoping out prey for their young. they snared their targets and ascended to the heavens, until they vanished into the heavens. the sky appeared to be one, colossal cloud. when the wind’s whistle degraded to not but a placid sigh, the waves serened themselves. the clouds parted and brilliant radiance streamed upon the ocean. now the waves were tame ripples that licked the shores of the land. the dandelion-yellow sun smiled its jubilee upon the sea, which had changed moods in minimal time. more gulls soared above the ocean water, admiring its endless expanse and conquering beauty. at last the ocean gleamed lustrously, emanating an air of peace and joy. it has completed nature’s cycle, and prepared to repeat the process of weather alternations once again. rain storm’s dominance the glowing orb of effulgence suspended in the ocean-blue sky, which was also occupied by cumulus clouds. the white clouds sluggishly swam in the sky, paying no mind to the sweeping grasslands below them. but nature’s hand was not idle: the cycle of weather was repeating again. in the distance loomed ominous clouds, which patrolled the heavens gradually. the paved their way through the sky, demolishing clouds that rebelled their presence. as the two forces battled, the dark clouds unleashed a bellow: a roar that chilled the blood and clenched the heart for a split second. the dark clouds effortlessly consumed the others, and the presence dominated the whole of the sky. with no white clouds to resist them, they traversed the sky and veiled the sun’s luster. now that the dark clouds tyrannized the terrain, they mustered their forces. they were silent, although they occasionally released a rumbling growl. the clouds initiated their assault by peppering the shadowed grasslands with rain. its strength grew, and soon curtains of rain showered down. the clouds unleashed their constructed rage by thrusting bolts of blinding electricity downwards. the strikes abruptly pinched the ground, which ignited crackling flames. the clouds seemed to defeat their own purpose though, for the rain swept down and extinguished the fire. as more lightning crashed, strings of reports rang throughout the land. the thunder rolled and smashed, shattering the sky with a boom! and another snap of lightning. the land and sky endured hours of commotion, until the dark clouds grew weary. their downfall was steady. first, the rain slowed and eventually ceased. the lightning no longer exited, and the clouds shouted their weak and desperate cry of defeat. the clouds disintegrated, allowing the sun’s brilliance to prevail over sky and earth. the last wispy remnants of the clouds shrunk to nothing, subdued by nature’s power. nature allowed the sun to gleam over the land, enjoying the happiness it brought. the rain clouds had been vanquished, their depressing forms replaced by puffy, white ones. but however much bliss the sun supplied the land, nature had a responsibility to fulfill. she began working on the next step in her beautiful cycle. illusions of happiness we beings can find happiness in various places. some find it in wealth, through expansive amounts of money. some find it in power, through the ability to rule others, and force them to do their bidding. some find it in fame, through others’ adoration and devotion to them. some find it in beauty, through health and lovely physical appearance. although sometimes, happiness, just like everything else in the universe, is not but an illusion. a simple illusion which deceits most of us. for greed snares opportunities at pure happiness: it forces our desire for wealth, power, fame, and beauty to escalate, and twists it like a washrag. wealth conquers contentment, and molds it into extensive lust. and even when we are satisfied, greed deceives us, and makes us unhappy, until our sanity is snuffed out. power becomes overwhelming, and takes control of our senses and awareness. it is then that foolishness forces us to become ignorant. fame is similar to power. power is similar to fame. either is obtained when one is possessed. and the consequences of fame is equal to that of power. and what does physical appearance bring us? compliments? smiles? others’ devotion to look like you? these things will force you to strive for more, and more, and more, until you destroy yourself in your epic quest for joy, which was just an illusion. which of these best suits you, dear friend? wealth, power, fame, or beauty? why not seek true happiness? look past the magician’s cunning tricks, and search for happiness that can only be found within yourself and others. true happiness can be found by giving elation to others. to drop a quarter in a donation box, to participate in a walk for cancer, or hunger, or other struggles. but are these obstacles illusions as well? can someone who is starving, or is pained by a disease find true happiness also? anyone can find true pleasure, but only if they wander down the correct path. sometimes simple things are where pure happiness is found. like sitting ‘round a crackling, welcoming fire, surrounded by brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, cousins, mothers, and fathers. or a simple stroll down a beach in the evening, as the setting sun casts the clouds into amalgamates of orange, yellow, pink, and purple, with the rippling waves tickling your toes. so i leave you with this vague question: where will you find happiness? will you find it in wealth, power, fame, or appearance? or will you choose happiness through bliss in unfortunate others, family and friends, or tranquil sanctuaries? as said, happiness is sometimes an illusion, and only the wise can truly find inner bliss, and elude the illusions of happiness.

    "Good job!..."

oh my god! your writing is excellent! great job! and I'm telling the truth no lie[: good job!
