Q. Who do you think the spurs will acquire to fill in the big man spot?

Powered by
There is been talk about rasheed wallace and brad miller. who do you think they may pick for the open spot they have? i think they should go for marcus camby. what are your thoughts? they have what teams want who are rebuilding "expiring contracts"

Wallace will not leave Detriot, he always express that he didn't want to leave. Brad Miller is a good option. Sactown must be thinking of rebuilding now and the spurs should try to make deals for Miller. Brad's style will definitely fit the spurs. Camby will also fit, Duncan and Camby frontcourt looks like a very serious defensive frontcourt.this will help the spurs not to rely on duncan everytime. problem with this is spurs don't have tempting player to trade with other team.

Q. Did the yankees skip the 5th man spot in the rotation?

Powered by
Is joba still suspended? that might be why, if not then why? c.c is scheduled to pitch tomorrow i mean c.c sabathia is scheduled to pitch today.

It has nothing to do with Joba being suspended. He is scheduled to pitch tomorrow. Since the Yankees had an extra day off after CC pitched he is ready for today. Also, by having him start today, he will be ready to pitch for Thursday's Home Opener at Yankee Stadium.

Q. A man in his late 50s came to the doctor with a hard spot under is breastbone.?

Powered by
An x-ray revels nothing abnormal, although the man insists the spot wasn't there until the past few years. what is the explanation?

There are a number skin conditions that cause lumps and bumps to appear on the surface of the skin or just below the skin. This article covers some of the most common ones, and includes the following: * Skin cysts * Cherry angioma * Dermatofibromas * Epidermoid cysts * Folliculitis * Keratoacanthoma * Keratosis pilaris * Lipomas * Neurofibromas Skin Cysts Cysts are noncancerous, closed pockets of tissue that can be filled with fluid, pus, or other material. Cysts are common on the skin and can appear anywhere. They feel like small peas under the surface of the skin. Cysts can develop as a result of infection, clogging of sebaceous glands (oil glands), or around foreign bodies, such as earrings. What Are the Symptoms of Skin Cysts? Skin cysts usually are: * Slow-growing * Painless * Smooth to the touch when they are rolled under the skin Cherry Angioma A cherry angioma is a smooth, cherry-red bump on the skin. Although cherry angiomas usually appear on the trunk of the body, they can occur nearly anywhere. The cause of cherry angiomas is not known and the growths usually appear on people over the age of 40. Dermatofibromas Dermatofibromas are harmless round, red-brownish skin growths that are most commonly found on the arms and legs. Dermatofibromas contains scar tissue and feel like hard lumps in the skin. The cause of dermatofibromas is not known. What Are the Symptoms of Dermatofibromas? The symptoms of dermatofibromas include: * A red, brown or purple growth that can change colors over time * A growth that is as small as a BB pellet * Tenderness, pain and itching; however, growths also can be painless * A dimple that appears when the growth is pinched Epidermoid Cysts Epidermoid cysts, also called sebaceous cysts, are benign (non-cancerous) skin cysts formed from blocked oil glands in the skin. Most commonly, epidermoid cysts are found on the genitals, trunk and back; but, they also can occur in other areas of the skin. What Are the Symptoms of Epidermoid Cysts? In general, epidermoid cysts have a round appearance. A dark portion of the cyst is visible on the skin. If the cysts become infected, they will become red and tender. When the cysts are squeezed, they can produce a cheesy white discharge. Folliculitis Folliculitis is an inflammation of the hair follicles. It can be caused by an infection in the hair follicles, by chemical irritation or by physical irritation (for example, shaving or friction from clothing). Typical body sites that are involved in folliculitis include the face, thighs and scalp. Folliculitis is more common in people who have diabetes mellitus. It also is more common in people who are obese or have compromised immune systems. What Are the Symptoms of Folliculitis? The main lesion in folliculitis is a papule or pustule with a central hair. The hair shaft in the middle of the lesion may not be seen. Other symptoms include: * Multiple red pimples and/or pustules on hair-bearing areas of the body * A rash * Itching skin Keratoacanthoma A keratoancanthoma occurs when cells in a hair follicle do not grow normally. The growth apparently is triggered by a minor skin injury in an area that previously had suffered sun damage. Ultraviolet radiation from sun exposure is the biggest risk factor in keratoacanthomas. A keratoacanthoma usually will appear on sun-damaged skin as a thick growth that has a central crusted plug. Keratoacanthomas appear most often in people who are over the age of 60. What Are the Symptoms of a Keratoacanthoma? Keratoacanthomas are rapidly growing, red, dome-shaped bumps with central craters. Some keratoacanthomas can grow to extremely large sizes, occasionally 3 to 6 inches in diameter. Keratosis Pilaris Keratosis pilaris (commonly called KP) appears as "chicken skin bumps" on the skin. These bumps usually appear on the upper arms and thighs. They also can appear on the cheeks, back and buttocks. Keratosis pilaris, while unattractive, is harmless. What Are the Symptoms of Keratosis Pilaris? This disorder appears as small, rough bumps. The bumps are usually white or red, but do not itch or hurt. Keratosis pilaris is usually worse during the winter months or other times of low humidity when skin becomes dry. It also may worsen during pregnancy or after childbirth. Lipomas Lipomas are subcutaneous soft tissue tumors or nodules that usually are slow-growing and are considered benign (not harmful). They have a firm, rubbery consistency. Lipomas tend to form on the trunk, shoulders, neck, but can appear elsewhere on the body. What Are the Symptoms of Lipomas? Lipomas can appear as solitary nodules or in groups. Most lipomas are less than 5 cm in diameter and are asymptomatic, but they can cause pain when they compress nerves. Neurofibromas Neurofibromas are soft, fleshy

Q. As a woman, what do you think if you spot a man looking at your breasts or another woman's breasts?

Powered by
I'm sure it depends on the context. but i would like to hear the perspective of this topic from a woman's point of view. of course, guys can weigh in too. how about if it is your boyfriend who you spot looking at another woman. or, what if it is a man who you are interested in, but not in a relationship with. at work? or social gatherings? i'm really curious about this. i try not to look at woman's breasts just trying to be respectful, but i often catch myself in a short stare.

It's normal. I mean it can be degrading if they're ONLY looking at your breasts, but come on, cut them some slack. They're going to look there regardless of the situation. Besides, its almost primordial - the reason why men find hourglass figures attractive is because bigger boobs mean more milk for offspring, and wider hips mean a greater chance of mother and child survival during childbirth. In some cases, how can you not keep looking there, with women basically wearing clothes that say PLEASE LOOK AT MY BREASTS.

Q. How do you spot an abusive man with one conversation?

Powered by
I have been in a couple short term, violent relationships and pressed charges. i will not be hit again and if i am, i will defend myself and fight back. i hate abusive men and i am trying hard to stay away from men like that so any help would be much obliged. iam so close to staying single the rest of my life. even though its lonely, its safer.

"And god forbid you should speak to another man..."

You go girl! Fight back! Like in the movie Enough. I love that movie! Back to your question: 1) He is charming, funny, and makes you laugh, yet he becomes angry quickly and erratically. This is a warning that his emotions are unstable. They lurk just below the surface, ready to explode at any time. Only he knows his triggers and they are not consistent. You will never know whether something will set him off into a tirade or cause him to take you in his arms for a passionate kiss. It may start off with a few quick eruptions that quickly evaporate, but make no mistake that this behavior will escalate over time. 2) He is derogatory and says cruel things about the women in his past, even his mother and female relatives. He debases women as purely sexual beings without minds or characters. He blames his exes for the failure of the relationship. He has nothing positive to say about women in general, although he may still be sweet and sensitive to you. Watch out because he most likely thinks the same things of you, although he hasn't expressed this yet. He will. 3) He is extremely jealous. He doesn't like other men to check you out or speak to you, and God forbid you should speak to another man. At first such jealousy is somewhat romantic and makes you feel protected by his love. It soon tires as you find yourself holding back from interacting with any male, no matter how innocent the exchange, for fear of emotional scenes and rages. This behavior will only get worse.
