    Q. Do you agree that the h.e.m. vc. r.i.c.e. questions here is scam?

    Powered by
People beware. there are several innocent looking questions about which method to heal an injured ankle is better: a well known rice or something called hem. i believe it is scam. the person seems to ask the question and then answers it himself using his own sockpuppets. here is the most recent one: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/i ndex?qid=20091013152501aanauf1 jim, nancy, and bill. nice try. is it possible to add a comment there explaining that it is scam? also check out this one: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/i ndex?qid=20080517194140aaclc1i it is a legitimate question with some legitimate answers. but there were also two answers by the following users: jonnyboywash and jacoblikens1. check out their profiles and questions they answered before and how they answered them.

i dont know why you wouldn't agree

    Q. Point scam question?

    Powered by
Recently i reported two jokers for a point scam in a forum i read. they were copying and pasting questions and answers from other forums. they'd do about five or six questions and answers, then move to another forum. i noticed that some of their previous questions had gone into voting, and some were selected as best answers. is there an answers policy regarding the keeping/removing of these from the previously answered questions? do others who had answered the questions get to keep their points? also, if a legitimate question is asked and a point scam is identified with one answerer using multiple accounts to vote themselves as best answer, what happens? does a resolved question go back to voting, or is the illegally obtained answer kept? thanks in advance!

If a question is removed because it is rude or doesn't fit with the rules for some reason, I think people who have answered that question will get to keep their points. If one user is identified as having multiple accounts for the purposes of scamming points - all the accounts they have that Yahoo! can identify will be deleted or cautioned. If an answerer is voting for his own answer to get points, then the answer will be deleted - but if it's been chosen, Yahoo! will usually just leave it. Hope that helps, Simon H

    Q. Legitimate scam free data entry jobs online or blogging jobs?

    Powered by
Hello everyone i hope someone could help me out. i'm trying to find a site or place where i could find a legitimate data entry or blogging jobs online that really do pay 100% free to join ( credit card required). but if there is a legitimate site that does require to pay i would not mind as long its legitimate and they really do pay. please only answer this question if you have gotten paid from the site you are about to recommend i would really appreciated it thank you.

Ofcourse.I can lead you to a good site in which I am doing data entry. The main advantage is that "NO INVESTMENT EVER". You should register into that website. You will get the payment at 20th every month if it is Rs. 2000 or more. If the sum is less than Rs.2000 it will be added to next month. You can receive the payment by DD/Cheque/Visa/other methods Another advantage is when you register you get Rs.100 as bonus. Register it. The work is also so simple. Just filling forms. I shall give my referral id as source. click that link and register. good luck.

    Q. Can anyone tell me how to find info on a website i found? i am wondering if it is a legitimate site or a scam.

    Powered by
I need help to find information on a web site i ran across. the web address is expressaccount.com - i am wondering if it is legitimate site. i am suspicious because i can not find on the page any help or contact information for the company. i would like to contact the company so i can try to get some questions answered or report the site as a scam if it turns out to be one. i have never ran across this before so i am not sure how to go about it.

There are a couple of tools you can use. One is www.domaintools.com which will show you the registration for the site and other details like contact info, age and so on. Another tools is Mcafee's Site Adivsor (www.siteadvisor.com) which looks more for scamming type sites or ones that send volumes of email.

    Q. Are "at home real estate property locators' legitimate and scam free jobs?

    Powered by
I received a notice in email today that realtors in my area are looking for work at home real estate property locators. they say you can train live online, at your leisure, and can make really decent money locating property for real estate investors. what type of skills would one have to possess in order to be successful as a real estate property locator? thank you for you time in answering my question.

A property locator job isn't usually a legit job because 75% of the realtors in your market are actually doing the same thing as a part of their real estate business and have more market knowledge than you are likely to attain training online. The necessary skills are a combination of identifying undervalued homes, knowing what a rehab would cost, and being able to determine its likely fair market value would be after rebailitation. Every real estate investor is looking for the deal of the century so the competition is fierce. Sometime they want you to identify and approach preforclosure properties which can get sticky since the owners see you as a vulcher. If you aren't afraid of hearing the word no over and over again , you might not have a problem with it.

    Q. I am selling microsoft office on ebay, why would someone ask me for the sku? is it a scam?

    Powered by
I am selling microsoft office 2008 for mac and someone just asked me "what is the sku ( 8 digit part number ) at the top of the box that starts with gza?" is this a legitimate question i should answer? or are they asking so they will have a pin or code to get their microsoft office to work? i am worried this is a scam.

lol it's the other way around, whoever asking this is afraid you're the one who goin' to scam him/her. You should have included the SKU number in the first place (Stock Keeping Unit #), it's just part number

    Q. I am so sick of looking at the questions that say "is there a legitimate work from home job out there?"?

    Powered by
And most of the answers are a scam.. all these people answer with websites that are already a scam. please don't do this to me.. it is really annoying.. does anyone know of legitimate ways to make extra money from home?

I couldn't agree with you more. Hands down, your best option is to start your own business that has nothing to do with any other "franchise, or online business." You'll waste your time running into too many scams (but you already know that). I suggest you pick up a copy of "Businesses You Can Start Almanac" from Borders or Barnes & Noble. It's a really great resource. It includes information about 1,000 businesses that you may be able to start. Very entertaining to read. (And no, I didn't write it - I just own it.)

    Q. Is there an alternative to a chacha guide to make money online?

    Powered by
I have also tried kgbkgb.com and amazon turk, they are good websites but i am trying to find out if there are any others out there, legitimate websites where you can make money by answering questions. please send no scam answers, help keep yahoo answers safe.

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as "work at home" because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

    Q. Please help me understand why you so freely throw around the word scam for any online venture!?

    Powered by
I am sick and tired of the "s" word, "scam" being thrown around in answers on this forum. to be a scam, implies intent to make money by dishonest, often criminal, means. that's a strong accusation! there are many of us in the online business community, mlm, networking, or whatever, who have legitimate business opportunties to offer that can literally change someone's life! my question is why? why do so many of you insist on attacking honest, well meaning, hard working people? i'm asking those of you from whom i continue to read answers to legitimate homebusiness questions with the free and liberal use of the word scam. please, tell me why. further more, i challenge you to go to my site and find the dishonest practices you claim to be there. it is: http://www.thehomebusinessanswer.co m

    "Know what i mean..."

I hear you on this one! Some people say that to push their opportunity onto people instead of people letting themselves decide which home based opportunity is best for them. One business might not be good for another person. Example, when we were looking into home based businesses, my wife wanted to do Mary Kay because she "loves" the products. On the other hand, I was dead set against it. Not because it was a bad product, but I didn't want to go around giving people facials and selling make up. It's just not right for a man to do! I also did not want to be driving around in a pink car! No Way! So we went into the telecommunications industry so we could work together on a business that would be good for both of us to do as a family. The other reason why people call things a scam, is because of their lack of business, and failure. People tend to fail in businesses because they give up too easily! They don't do what it takes to succeed in business. They figure they sign up, do nothing and should be paid for work they did not do. Doesn't happen. Because they go in, thinking they're going to make the big money like the rest of us who have had our business for a while, since they don't make the income we have (granted we've been running our business for years) they throw their hands up and call it a scam. When their business doesn't make the income they desire, and the quit, it's easy (especially in NetWork Marketing as well as MLM companies) to pass the buck onto someone else or something else. Instead of fessing up (being a man, or lady) and saying "I failed because......" they try and justify that it's a scam as to why they didn't make it. Like I said, passing the buck when the company has a very good potential, if they'd learn the industry and take the opportunities that each of these companies offer for training in their industries. Not everyone has what it takes to be a business owner, and when they find they won't do what it takes to succeed in business, it immidiatly becomes a scam, write stupid blogs and do what they can to discredit a perfectly good company. I see it everywhere in all businesses. It's pretty pathetic. So I tell everyone who see's a network marketer offering their business opportunity, that very well may be for the person who's asking, not to put down someone else's opportunity but to give them a thumbs up. People are always going to be looking for the negativity in something because they can't seam to get out of their comfort normal 9 to 5 job and take a chance at something that has the potential to make them into something. They expect the money should be "given" to them, not them take on the opportunity and make it grow and build themselves something incredible. Know what I mean? Keep on trucking! Don't let the negative people who will never really "be" somebody because they can't take the blame upon themselves, pass the buck, or be real unethical and try to pursuade others to do what they're doing. Look where they will be ten years down the line. I don't need to look at your site, if you beleive in it, then do it. Forget about the negative and keep trying to help people out! People are asking for opportunities, so keep offering your opportunity. Forget about the ones that report you out of jelousy or trying to eliminate your competition, forget about people calling it a scam, you know it's not and so will others. Focus on the positive people, what you can do for them and forget about the negative ones. Brush them under the carpet and walk over them! Leave them in the dust! In our business we have a saying, some will, some won't, so what next! I hope this helps. Need any other advice, feel free to email me or my wife at kaiden4@aol.com Shaun
