Well it may be illegal to use fake pay stubs but it is not illegal to make them unless you are using a companies logo which is copyright infringement . There are plenty of online resources for making fake pay stubs. You can search google.

I've been saving for quite sometime, and even with this tough economy, i was able to stack some money, and now i'm ready to leave my moms place and buy a new car. even though i have been working hard to save money, i have been getting paid under the table. can i explain this to an apartment complex? or do i need to have proof of income? if i need proof of income, is there a way i can generate a fake pay stub or w-2, wither weekly, monthly or yearly it don't matter?

Well, he could be one of those professional landscapers that only deals in cash for now. He might be a hard working individual, just getting started and trying to get his business off the ground so he is not relying on "the system" to take care of him. I fulfill every requirement needed for an apartment, but i do not have pay stubs. i don't think i would need to put out fake paystubs either because who knows what the consequences will be. other than that, i have good credit, good rental references, and funds in 3 banks which i can prove through bank statements. my mom who will be renting with me as well has bad credit but she is on social security, which is her income there. i think she is good to go. but other than that, i have no gainful employment. my father suggested to use his former company and he could try to write a proof of employment letter but it will not be 3 months of paystubs. do you think this could go through? any advice or tips? i really need to find a place for me and my mom. my father cannot help or co-sign because he is out of the state and has bad credit.

There are some landlords that will accept unemployed tenants if they pay the entire lease upfront. This is usually undesirable for a landlord because it means they cannot evict you for the term of your lease for any reason. Which means you'll have difficulty finding a place, and those you do find will probably be less desirable apartments. Other than that - you're going to have a hard time finding any landlord that accepts tenants that don't have income. The fact that you have money in your bank means very little - because you can spend it immediately after you move in and would lose the ability to pay rent. If you have income, than you have means to pay for rent in the future.

My partner and i have found the apartment we want, but there is a minimum income and a maximum income that we cannot exceed. we've done the math, and we actually make about $200 over the limit. the complex is asking for my last 4 pay stubs. if i come up with some fakes (which i can), do most complexes investigate into your income beyond just looking at the pay stubs? my employer has no problem lying for me as i've worked here for years, but if the complex calls someone above my actual boss, obviously they wont lie. anyone have any history with this situation? it's frustrating considering we go over the limit by a mere $200. oh, and details that might help: this is in texas, and this is not a low income housing place or government assisted or anything. thanks.

These actually are subsidized housing, that is why there is a maximum. You do realize you can serve 10 years in federal prison for fraud like this? They are going to verify your income with the IRS. This is felony welfare fraud.

I am starting school and i kinda have a lot of things against me like i don't have a job so if anyone know a good place to apply that would be great also i currently stay with my mom here and she's going back home to chicago in a few weeks and i don't have any family here so i was gonna ask my friend if i could stay with him for a few weeks till i get my refund from school so that i can get a place ,but thing with that is again i do not have a job so i was gonna try and get a fake check stub so that it will improve my chances , but another thing is i never had my own apartment i've always live with someone but i also paid rent so would that be considered a rental history even though i was not on a lease and also i know all about the weekly deals here but considering its just gonna be me here i need to think about my safety and most of those are in bad areas and i cannot do that so if any one know where a good place to start looking for a job would be great also any private landlords or any useful comments would greatly appreciated my first student loan will cover about 3 months and then i get another one in january witch will cover about 3 months as well and that for like a 600-650 rent then i also will get a refund from my pell grant and as far as food i apply for stamps

Chances are without a job and without having ever been on a lease, you are going to have a difficult time getting an apartment. Plus, living on your own for the first time, you are probably going to get overwhelmed with your rent and bills. For a decent apartment, you will probably be paying around $650 a month, plus utilities, which will add on another $100-200 depending on the time of year. I don't know how much your school refund is, but I doubt it will last you long if you can't get a job... you don't want to get an apartment then be financially strapped and unable to pay your rent or bills... this will look really bad on your credit and your rental history! Don't get a fake check stub and don't go with a weekly rental... they are not in safe areas, you're right. If I were you, I would look on Craigslist in the housing section under rooms/shared. You can find tons of rooms for rent in people's housing and probably get something decent for $500 or less per month that includes rent and utilities. A lot of private renters of Craigslist would probably accept letters of reference from some of the former people you have paid rent to. As far as a job, just start applying everywhere! Grocery stores, department stores, wherever. The job market sucks here right now, so I would just focus on getting any job you can get... land a job even if it's not somewhere you want a work so you are at least pulling in a paycheck. Even private renters are going to be wary of you if you are unemployed. Once you have a job, you can still continue the job hunt to look for something you actually want to do. You might have to settle in the meantime, though.

I applied for a loan at a bank and they told me based on my credit i qualify for a $10,000 loan. they asked me how much i make and i told them double what i really make. i am approved but now they want proof of income. can i submit fake 1099? it's a small loan not a mortgage. can underwriters check if it's legit? i know it's not ethical but my credit is good and i can pay the monthly installments. please give serious answers i do not need a lecture on ethics. thanks

They very likely will want to see either a completed tax return in its entirety, after filing, or pay stubs, and every once in a while banks do call and check up on employment and earnings if they are suspicious. I don't really see a way you could make this happen, I would call the bank and tell them you had a relative loan you the money and get out of it. You would have to do some serious document forging to give them the proof they want, and even then they may find you out. I once stated that my income was higher than it was to get a choice apartment and the broker would only accept a copy of a filed tax return so I ended up calling to say I had found a new place.

Well....get a lawyer. You can get a paternity test to prove its your son, and take her to court for custody hearings. Then they will more than likely ask you to prove that you are fit for caring for a child, given your past, so be prepared to produce pay stubs, ....maybe doctors notes, like if you go to therapy or rehab. Again, a lawyer could really tell you everything.
